Description

118 campsites comprise Doheny State Beach campground, 33 of those are premium ocean-front sites while 16 are exclusively for RVs and trailers. Everything else can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs. However, there are no hookups available at any site. There is also 1 group campsite located at the southern end. A hike and bike site for cyclists and hikers are available, too. Each site has a picnic table and fire rings, and can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests including children. There is a restroom with flush toilets, hot showers, piped water and amphitheater on site, as well as a dump station. Six sites are handicap accessible. Inland sites cost $40 per night, premium sites are $60, while hike and bike site is $10. Group campsite is a tent-only site which can accommodate up to 40 people and 10 vehicles with a maximum length of 17 feet. Fee is $300. Surfing and swimming are fun activities here.

Beachfront is $60 non beach front (directly across) is $40... we had site 63 & had to move to 48. Both fit our tents just fine. Showers are by token, $1 will give you 2 tokens. Firewood is $7. Park hosts are lovely - rangers arent helpful. Generator rules here are also ridiculous, some people go camping to relax not listen to a generator all day.
