Description
The land where El Chorro Regional campground sits used to be a place for dairy production and cattle grazing, then a training camp for US Army during WWII. Today, it has a total of 61 campsites, 43 with full hookups and 18 primitive sites with water nearby. 6-8 people can comfortably stay in a single site. RVs up to 40 feet can be accommodated. Few pull-through sites are also available.
Restrooms and coin-operated showers can be accessed in this campground. The park itself has picnic area with BBQ facilities, volleyball courts, off-leash dog park, horseshoe pits, and softball fields. The San Louis Obispo Botanical Garden is also here. Several trails can be hiked, too.
Camping fee starts from $25 to $50 depending on the site and day of visit.

Camping is 23$, fee for a pet 3.5$. Places are quit big and we could here some wild pigs :) Shower is 1$ but it is freezing cold water, besides that it was a nice place. Full hook up is possible and is 37$.
