Description
Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park features one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe, as it has nearly two miles of lake frontage and has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper.
Visitors can see the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, also known as the Pine Lodge, a summer home built in 1903 in a grove of pine and cedar. There's also day usse facilities, including the picnic area, beach, and pier that are a 3/4-mile south from the campground.

Just one toilet and one urinal for man's and just two toilets for woman's, its to less for the hole campground. Showers cost 1$ for 3min. No power at the tentside.

Stayed here early May, Campground (also the whole Tahoe area) is in winter mode. Almost all other campgrounds open end of May for summer season. Basic camping provided here for 25$ per night. About 20 sites (summer about 150) opened, each provided with bear safe lockers and fire pit, sites not very spacious and now privacy, but nicely located in the woods. Showers and dumping station closed in winter season
