Description
Emigrant is a free tent-only campground with 10 first come, first serve campsites. It overlooks the Cottonwood Mountains giving campers a beautiful view. There is a potable water and trash service on site. Flush toilets can be accessed in a building about 270 feet outside the campground.
It is open all-year except on New Year's and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. You can stay for as long as 30 days. Each site can accommodate 8 people. Pets are allowed but must be on leash not longer than 6 feet.

Super Campingplatz, Stellflächen mit Tischen und Toiletten sind auch nicht weit weg. Auch schön ruhig, nur ein paar Autos fahren nachts vorbei.

Couple of Aussie Travellers. The sign does say tents only, however there was an RV already parked up so we parked too. Great view, wind came from the west and we could hear the rumble of military jets. Short walk to facilities. Weather starting to cool off around 3.30pm and dark by 5pm. Camp-site below the snowchains may be required elevation.
