Description

Emma Wood State Beach is a popular spot for swimming, surfing, and fishing because of its moderate temperatures. It has 90 campsites for self-contained vehicles only since it offers primitive camping without any facilities and utilities like restrooms, water, electricity, fire rings, or dump station. Vehicles up to 40 feet are welcome, but you must keep in mind that sites are not level and surface contains a mixture of dirt, asphalt, cobble, and ocean debris. Campers who love fishing can catch perch, bass, cabezon, and corbina. Dolphins are sometimes seen offshore. A variety of wildlife can be spotted too. Take note that high tide can hamper the operations of the campground and may it cause it to close anytime.
