Description

Located along the coast, Gaviota State Park campground has 38 campsites. Campers enjoy the waves and fishing in the pier near the campground. Winds, however, can be really strong in this area which can damage the tents. The campground opens from April to October. Sometimes they open on weekends during off-season but it is best to call them first. Picnic tables, fire rings with grill are provided in each site. Flush toilets, showers and store are available. Camping fee is $35 to $45 a night. Each site can accommodate 8 guests and 2 vehicles.

On weekends there is a little grocery store on the campground. The showers are nice. (25ct/2min)

Not exactly on marked place, follow sign to Gaviota state park. Noisy because of the interstate close to it. Lot of wind! Place not charming but ok for a night. To expensive for what it is.
