Description
Like some of the other campgrounds at New Melones Lake, Glory Hole Recreation Area features modern amenities including flush toilets, showers and drinking water. Visitors will also have access to a full-service marina, boat launch, day-use areas, barbeque grills and a fish cleaning station. Attend ranger programs at the amphitheater and horseshoe pits in the Ironhorse campground.

Beware that gates lock at 9:00p. You can leave but can't enter. Check website for details.

Good camping. Fine amenities. Free firewood. Went on a really nice morning run to the marina. Non operational showers, went to Tuttletown for them.

Love this place. Quiet, great views in the higher sites looking over the lake, low to moderate shade levels in most sights, surrounded by grassy fields. Upon entry you can use an automated debit card machine to pay for your site (really convenient in such a large place).
