Description
Nice place to stay a night. A lot of RV's there. But amazing sunrise with a view on The Golden Gate Bridge. A little noise because of the road next to it at about 5:00 AM. Access from and directly at road 101. This is a formal rest area where sleeping is allowed and legal for up to 8 hours. It's good for a night or two, but not a place to settle and make it a campsite. Otherwise the view is absolutely amazing and there are toilets open 24 hours. Just be aware that the place gets packed during the day and even during the night there are photographers and others around. Enjoy!

Standen eine Nacht mit einem minivan zwischen vielen anderen Campern. Wir haben uns hier recht sicher gefühlt und hatten abends und morgens einen tollen Ausblick auf die GGB. Für so einen Ausblick zahlt man sonst unglaublich viel Geld. ☺️ Was ich meiden würde sind die Toiletten, die gehen überhaupt nicht. Liebe Grüße aus Hannover 🙋♀️☺️

Stayed for 1 whole day and 1 night. No problems. Really windy, but it was good enough. And a wonderful overview over goldengate bridge. Every 5 minutes bridge patrol driving over the parking spot. Felt save there.
