Description

Hidden Springs Campground is along the Eel River and the Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The campground is on a hillside in a mixed forest, 5 miles south of the Visitor Center. The South Fork of the Eel is a short walk away and offers swimming, boating, and fishing. Several forest trails lead away from the campground. Hidden Springs Campground has 155 campsites. A majority of the sites at Hidden Springs are designated as tent-only. Thirty-four campsites can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. Campsites at Hidden Springs offer a little more privacy than at some of the other campgrounds in the park.

Awesome campground in the tall redwoods and fir, does not allow booking within 24/48hrs of date, so you have to try your luck with first come first serve if spots are available, try ringing first to check spots.
