Description

As the name implies, Horse Flats campground has spots for equestrians. It features 4 horse corrals and several hitching posts at the west side. There are 26 campsites on ground with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets are located on site, but no piped water is available. If you want some activities, you can always hike the Silver Moccasin Trail or do some bouldering at Mt. Hillyer. Lots of tracks can be accessed through mountain biking as well. Camping fee is $12 a night per site. All sites are on a first come, first serve basis. RV with a maximum length of 20 feet can be accommodated, but no hookups are available.
