Description
Horseshoe Road Recreation Area's campground offers an excellent base camp for exciting recreation opportunities with its walking and hiking trails, picnic areas and river access points for fishing and boating. It is one of the three reservation campgrounds in Stanislaus River Parks' system, and some amenities include vault toilets and non-potable water near the campsites.
Each campsite features a picnic table, fire rings, and a lantern holder, and campers can park their vehicles in the front lot and walk approximately, a half mile to their campsites.
