Description
Peace and quiet is what you'll get if you camp at Iris Meadow. It is tucked around a small meadow surrounded with aspens, pines, and willows. Wild Iris and other wildflowers beautifully bloom here during late Spring. Few sites are also along Rock Creek.
It features 14 campsites with some having good privacy provided by the trees while the others are more open. All of these sites are not reservable. 6 people can stay in a single site for as long as 21 days. RVs up to 26 feet can be accommodated, although there are no hookups in the campground. Only flush toilets and tap water are located on site. Picnic tables, fire rings, and food storage lockers are provided.
Camping fee is $29 a night. Since bears frequent the area, make sure to clean your site and use the food lockers. Do not feed wild animals, too.
