Description

Sitting below Florence Lake on San Joaquin River, this campground has a total of 44 campsites that can accommodate tents and RVs not exceeding 25 feet. Since you need to go through Kaiser Pass, large RVs and motorhomes are unsuited for this campground. Some recreations you can do while camping here are fishing and boating at Florence Lake. Each of the site is provided with picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. Bear-proof food lockers, water, and accessible vault toilets are located on ground. There are no reservations needed for camping here as all sites are on a first come, first serve basis. Camping fee is $26 a night for a single site which can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests for as long as 14 days. It is usually open from June to September.
