Description

Rugged yet tranquil camping experience is what you'll get in this family-owned and operated tent campground. It is located in the scenic Highway 95 and within 4.5 miles from the entrance of Sequoia National Park. This is definitely not a place to party because they want to keep things quiet and peaceful so all campers can relax and enjoy the nature. Their campsites are spacious and have a fire pit and table. Campers can freely use their showers. Restroom is a deep pit toilet, not for those who fancy flush toilets. They have a jerky stand where you can get beef, alligator, antelope, buffalo, elk, kangaroo, turkey, venison, wild boar, yak, tuna, and salmon jerky. Water, sodas, honey sticks, and firewood can also be purchased. They have a common area with electricity. Aside from Sequoia National Park, it is also near Morro Rock, General Sherman Tree, Crystal Cave, Lake Kaweah, Kings Canyon National Park, and a lot more. Daily rate is $25 a night for 2 people, $35 for 3-4 people, and $55 for 5-6 people. Rates include one vehicle. Dogs are not allowed in this campground.

I totally do not recommend this place. The campsite is dirty, the car can not be parked inside but even for parking on the other side of the street you have to pay $10. It is completely overpriced for what you get. As a bonus - owner of this camping or whoever he is is rude.

It is far to expensive for what is it ! One drt toilet, one small cold shower, no drinkable water (the owner give one gallon). We were 3 tents not in a 'real site' and we all paid 25$ each !
