Description
This used to be a mining area but now offers plenty of recreation like camping, white-water rafting, fishing, and gold panning. Mountain biking, horseback riding, and motorized recreation can be done in the 70 miles of trails in this area.
For camping, Keysville South entrance is where you should enter. Sites have fire rings and the campground has vault toilets. Pets are allowed but must be attended at all times.

Nice Campground! The river is next to the campground. Very strong current.

Beautiful spot - unfortunately a little bit dirty. A lot of people leave there garbage :(

Nice campground with lots of space. Lots of tent sites and car camping. Mostly flat for driving with some rough spots. A few toilets around with fire pits. Great view of the rushing river. Perfect for overnight or a few days.
