Description
Lake Morena is having problems with low water the past few years but when the water is high, it usually offers boat rentals. It has 86 campsites surrounded with chaparral, oak woods and grasslands. 10 cabins are also available for rent. 17 of the campsites have water and electric utilities, while 40 have full hookups. 20 sites are for tents only and 9 are for dry camping.
Hikers usually flock this campground because Pacific Crest Trail runs through here. Each site can accommodate a maximum of 8 people, 1 vehicle and 1 towed. Pets are allowed and must be on leash at all times.
Camping fee is $24 for tent-only and non-hookup sites, $29 for electric hookup, and $33 for full hookup sites. An additional $5 reservation fee will also be collected. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Restrooms with flush toilets, showers, water, and dump station is available in the campground.
