Description

Live Oak is settled on the northwest shore of Lake Isabella. Visitors of the campground enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, windsurfing, and waterskiing in the lake. The campground has 2 sections, the north and the south. The north serves as an overflow site and only opens on holiday weekends. The south has 90 campsites shaded by oak trees. All sites have picnic table and fire ring with grill. Showers, tap water, and restrooms with flush toilets are available. RVs up to 30 feet can be accommodate, although there are no hookups in the campground. They have 1 group site that can accommodate up to 150 people and 30 vehicles. This can be reserved through recreation.gov. Camping fee is $28 a night for a single site, and $30 on holiday weekends. Group site cost $350 to $385 a night. Live Oak campground is open from May to September, as long as the weather is good.
