Situated in Eldorado National Forest, Loon Lake Campground offers 53 campsites that serves RVs, trailers, tents, and equestrians, with 43 of them being double sites. There are also five picnic sites at the facility, and campers can go hiking and horseback riding at the nearby Desolation Wilderness.
