Description

Lumsden Campground is sat on a low elevation pine and oak forested site within the Tuolumne-Lumsden Recreation Area. All sites can only accommodate tents, and provides a picnic table and a campfire pit with a grill. There is also a vault toilet available in the campground, but no drinking water. However, there is untreated water available from the river, if running, and treating the water before drinking is highly recommended.

Great spot once you get there. Nice bathrooms and right by the river. Only downside is the long gravel road leading to the sites. Very rough road but we were fine in a Nissan Rogue

Really nice spot. But hard to go there. Is a 6 miles gravel road in the mountain down to the river.
