Description

With 6,000-feet of elevation, you will feel like camping in the clouds in this campground. It features 21 first come, first served sites. Toilets and piped water are available. However, once temperatures reach freezing point, piped water is turned off. Picnic bench and fire ring are provided in all sites. It is within a short drive to Mt. Baldy Schoolhouse and Visitor Center where you can learn about the area's Native American roots. Various hiking trails can also be accessed like Baldy Bowl trailhead and Devil's Backbone. Camping fee is $14 a night. Bears frequent this area so make sure to use bear boxes provided to store food and eliminate its scent.
