Description
Manzanita Lake Campground is the largest campground in Lassen Volcanic National Park, where campers can enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. Not only does it offer 174 single site, 30 of which are tent-only, but it also includes rustic camping cabins and group campsites, both of which are available by reservation only.

Campground is located inside the national forrest. This means you have to drive into the nationalpark, wich you have to pay a fee for. At the time we were there it was quite crowded because the other two campsites in the middle of the national park were closed. The spaces are very open so you don't have a lot of privacy

Nice campground amid tall pines. Showers take quarters. Store and laundry at entrance. Loop A and C take reservations, loop B and D are first come first serve. Loop D is tent only. Snow came late September.
