Description
McGee Creek campground is a great basecamp for those who want to explore McGee Canyon or John Muir Wilderness. It is also 4 miles away from Crowley Lake which offers fishing opportunities. It features a total of 28 campsites, with few that are alongside the creek. Small RVs and trailers up to 28 feet, and tents are accommodated here.
Campsites are equipped with tables, fire rings, food storage lockers, and shade ramada. Flush and vault toilets, and tap water are available. Hookups, however, are not accessible on site. This campground opens from April to October.
Camping fee is $27 a night where 6 people can stay in a single site for 14 days. Only 1 RV or trailer is permitted on site. Dogs are allowed but keep them on leash.
