Description

Nestled in Eldorado National Forest, Middle Fork Cosumnes Campground is a great recreational area for campers looking for activities while relaxing. The Middle Fork Annex, the former dispersed campsites in the area about 400 feet downstream from the official Middle Fork Campground, is also included as a fee site operated by Sierra Recreation Management. Campers who wish to use the Annex sites will have to walk or drive into the main Middle Fork Campground to use the toilets. There are picnic tables, fire rings, and garbage cans at the Annex. There is no piped water at the campground, but campers can boil or treat the water from the river when available.
