Description
Cottonwood trees surround this campground and provide shade to its 8 campsites. It is located close to a creek. Picnic tables, fire rings and grills are provided in each site. Vault toilet can also be accessed but no water is available in the campground. Make sure to bring enough for your drinking, washing, and cooking needs.
Fall is the best season to visit this campground because the trees change the color of its leaves and you will be enveloped by beautiful and vibrant golden hues. Several trails can be accessed from this campground like the Lion Canyon trail, Piedra Blanca trail, and Sespe River trail.
Campfires are normally permitted all year at Middle Lion campground. Camping fee is $20 a night.
