Description

Tucked in a serene meadow near Mono Hot Springs, this remote campground has 14 spacious campsites shaded by Ponderosa pines. It is located near Lake Thomas Edison where you can go boating or fishing. It also serves as a base to Ansel Adams and John Muir Wilderness areas. Hot mineral baths can also be enjoyed at Mono Hot Springs. All campsites at Mono Creek have picnic tables, grills, and food storage lockers. There is no water in the campground, but potable water can be accessed at nearby High Sierra Ranger Station. Vault toilets are located on site. RVs up to 25 feet can be accommodated, those longer than that is not recommended at Kaiser Pass Road. Camping fee is $26 a night for a single site and $52 for a double site. A maximum of 6 guests can stay in a site for as long as 14 days. Reservations can be made at least 3 days in advance. A minimum stay of nights is required on weekends, and 3 nights on holiday weekends.
