Home Sweet World
This is such a stunning place to camp over night. The road continues on a short distance to the volcano rim trail (not advisable to drive in low clearance 2wd vehicles) there are various sites along this and the other forest roads. We stayed here on a Saturday night and only one other camper in the area. The road is very quiet at night. One of the best free boondocking sites we have stayed at in CA. Watch out for the shards of obsidian that scatter this area
