Description

Nestled in the immediate north of Morro Bay, this campground has 76 campsites, arranged in 3 rows next to the beach. Full hookup spaces are on the back row to make sure that large vehicles won't obstruct the ocean views. Standard sites compose the rows along the ocean, and in the middle of the three. It has enough space for a tent and vehicles of up to 24 feet. Campsites have picnic tables and fire rings. Restrooms with flush toilets can be used in the campground while showers can be found at Morro Bay State Park. Sites 47 and 67 are wheelchair accessible. You can reserve sites up to 6 months in advance. Swimming, surfing, and fishing are just some water fun you can do in the beach. Standard sites cost $35 while hookup sites cost $50 a night. A maximum of 8 people is allowed in each site . Pets are welcome but must be on leash. They are only allowed in the campground and not on the beach.

Really enjoyed the campsite. We had a site with ocean view, Picknick table and fire place. Quiet at night. Restrooms are pretty old, no showers.

Really great spot! Very quiet at night and really close to a wonderful biking trail that takes you straight into town.
