Description
Note: Nira Campground is temporarily closed from July 25,2021 to March 30, 2022 due to the removal and replacement of two concrete low-water road crossings.
Campers can access trailhead to San Rafael Wilderness from this campground. It features 12 campsites, 9 are reservable and 3 are first-come, first serve. There is a vault toilet, picnic tables, and parking space available.
Aside from hiking, campers can also go horseback riding, backpacking, and hunting. Camping fee is $20 per night while seniors and Access Pass holders have a 50% discount.
The closest towns to the campground are Los Olivos, Solvang, Santa Ynez, and Santa Barbara.
