Description
Tucked in the home of the giant sequoias, North Grove Campground is located in Calaveras Big Trees State Park and offers campsites limited to eight people and two licensed vehicles, including trailers. All vehicles should park in the designated campsite parking, as no road or off-road parking is permitted.
See some bears, raccoons, birds and squirrels that are native to this area and commonly visit the campgrounds. Throughout the summer months, the park provides regularly scheduled interpretive programs for the guests' interest and enjoyment, including campfire programs, guided walks, and Junior Ranger programs.
