Description
Experience the great outdoors at Oak Hollow Campground in Calaveras Big Trees State Park. All campsites at Oak Hollow are limited to eight people and two licensed vehicles, including trailers. Campers are reminded that vehicles must park in designated campsite parking only, as no road or off-road parking is permitted. For those who wish to hike, several interesting hiking trails have their own brochures, which can be
purchased at the visitor center or trailhead.

Not a bad stop over on your way to Lake Tahoe (be wary, small roads beyond Bear Valley). We totally missed the big trees as we didn't read the pamphlet properly, make sure you don't miss the world's largest trees like we did. The camp sites are mainly for tents, so if you're in a van, the parks may not be very level
