Description
Oak Knoll campground is known for being the spot where the first documented UFO encounter took place. It is a good place to watch the stars or see the Milky Way. They offer both tent sites and RV sites with full hookups. You can have quiet time watching the birds, or play billiards and arcade with other guests. Pool, playground, and recreation room are great places to have fun, too.
There is a WIFI hotspot on site, a convenience store for snacks and drinks, laundry and restroom. Nearby, you can do biking, hiking, boating or maybe visit San Diego Zoo or Seaworld. You might want to try your luck as well in the five casinos close to the campground.
Daily rate starts at $30 for water/electric sites and $40 for full hookup. Rates can go up depending on the day of your visit. Weekend and holiday stays are more expensive. You can also rent a cabin for $119 to $139 a day.
