Description

If you love stars, this is the campground for you. Observatory campground guests can use the Hale telescope to explore the night sky. They also have Star Parties in summer and access to the scenic Observatory Trail. It features a total of 42 sites, 36 are single and 6 are double. Most of these sites are for reservation which you can book at least 8 days prior to your intended stay. Flush and vault toilets are available on site, as well as coin-operated hot showers and water. Camping fee is $15 for a single site and $30 for a double unit. This campsite is usually open from July to December.
