Description
Primitive beach and dunes camping is what you'll expect in the campground at Oceano Dunes. There are no designated campsites, just pitch a tent where you feel it. Vault and chemical toilets are available. 4WD vehicles are recommended.
Guests can enjoy unlimited swimming, surfing, and surf fishing. Of course, OHV riding is always fun here too.

Nice Campsite on the Beach! You need a 4x4 or AWD! We made it with our car with AWD. Be careful dont camp to close to the water. The waves get bigger at Night. You have to drive 2.0 miles over the Sand before you reach the Campsite.

Camping on the beach! Amazing sunset! Made a big campfire (its allowed). $10 tent. One of our favorid campsites in California. Wish we could spend another night.
