Description

Beautiful scenery around Onion Valley campground provides opportunities for photography and just admiring nature. Almost all of its 30 campsites offer majestic mountain views and shaded with plenty of trees. Hiking into John Muir Wilderness and Kings Canyon National Park are popular to campers here. All sites are provided with picnic tables, fire rings with grill, and bear-proof food lockers. Vault toilets and seasonal tap water are available, too. RVs up to 16 feet can be accommodated but don't expect any hookups. Camping fee is $22 a night. Onion Valley is open from April to October.
