Description
Located near the South Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, this boondocking site has a lot of space for you to camp in. Some roads might be uneven but passable anyway. It is even more private here compared to the paid campsites. It is close to the park, and far enough from freeway that you won't be bothered by highway noise.
There are no facilities but mobile signals are strong. If you want to have a campfire, make sure to obtain a permit first.
