Description
This dispersed camping site has loose sands and kind of soft, so it is recommended to go via 4WD here. Temperature can soar in the day so make sure you are prepared for that. It can also get really windy, especially at night, so put extra stakes, sandbags and rocks on your tent and other things if you don't want them to get blown away.
2 clean toilets are on site. You can do some hiking here, especially the Painted Canyon ladder trail. Unfortunately, that trail isn't dog friendly even if they are allowed to join.

Very pretty and hot. Little tough without 4 wheel but didn't get stuck. Make sure to explore painted canyon while you're there!

Camped here the end of November was prefect not too hot but not too cold. Not another person around. Felt like living on Mars. So many places to set up camp, lots of room for dog to run around. Good spot 👌
