Description
Paso Picacho is one of the two family camps in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Some of the most popular hikes in the park can be accessed here like Stonewall Peak and Cuyamaca Peak, both offer breathtaking view of the desert and Lake Cuyamaca.
85 campsites are available in this campground with picnic tables and fire rings each. There are restrooms with flush toilets and pay showers, too. A dump station, water faucets, ice, and firewood are located or can be purchased in the camp.
Camping fee is $30 a night including one motorized vehicle and 8 persons. Extra vehicle would cost $10 each a night. You will need to make a reservation from April to October as this campground is usually heavy during that period. Dogs are welcome but must not be left unattended.
