Hot and buggy, many sites were not level. This camp is in the low elevation foothills of Sequoia, so you will likely be driving up a million switchbacks up 198. if you have a large rig, I strongly recommend skipping this place, and come into the park from the west on 180 (newer, wider road) and stay at a higher elevation like Lodgepole

A lot of places reserved (6 pm arrival mid September), around three places left. Toilets and sink for doing the dishes were good and clean.

Great camping but on check in the staff was helpful but they were there and still had to go online to book and pay, totally inconvenient. Wasn't familiar with sites and we have a teardrop rv but staff did not put us on a level site and place more than half empty. No firewood available had to go to town to buy. Electricity and bathrooms in February but roads closed in park so didn't get to see redwoods
