Description

Already implied by its name, Quaking Aspen trees surround this campground. These trees already provide a relaxing view with its lush green color in the spring, and deep russet-gold hue in the fall. It features 32 single family units, among which are 2 accessible sites. Vault toilets, potable water, tables, and BBQ stoves are on site. RVs up to 24 feet in length can be accommodated. The campground is usually open from May to October, depending on the weather. Aside from the single units, it also has group sites next to the main campground. There are 3 sites that can accommodate a group of 12 people, 2 sites for 25 people, and another 2 sites for 50 people. Group sites are for reservation only. Hiking trails are nearby, and you can also go fishing at Peppermint Creek and in the streams at Golden Trout Wilderness.
