Not really a campsite but we used it anyway. Road noise stopped around 9pm-6am. Right amongst the redwoods with a gorgeous creek running adjacent. Did not even attempt the porta-potty on-site.

Wanted to stop here, but there was highway shutdown just 400 meters before the stop.Checked in the morning - seems quite dirty: both mud and garbage around, haven't really seen neither water nor picnic tables. However the grass is good, can pitch a tent.

The site looks almost abandoned. The entrance is faded. The trail and information sign in the forest are overgrown. I didn't even attempt to use the porta potty. It was quiet and nobody bothered me, so I stayed the night. Almost no traffic all night and it gets very dark. It is a little creepy, but seems relatively safe. I don't think you are the technically supposed to stay here though.
