Sitting at an elevation of 6,500 feet, Sagehen Creek Campground is a remote, rustic campground along Sagehen Creek with 10 undeveloped campsites. It is adjacent to a beautiful meadow with shade provided by lodgepole pine.

One of the two roads to the campinggrounds was closed. The second road was unaccessable with 2WD SUV.

One app told us the road was really smooth, but that road was only accessible for people working on the science center. The other road is very rough, and I wouldnt recommend it unless youre in a 4wd.Besides that its very open and lots of campsites are available.
