Description

All of the 16 campsites at Sample Meadow are located along Kaiser Creek. Picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets are on site. Since it is a bear country, there are bear boxes provided so campers can store their food properly out of the bears' reach. About half a mile from the campground, various trails to wilderness can be hiked. There are no rooms here for large RVs and motorhomes, but horse camping is permitted. It is a free campground which is open from June to December. 6 people can stay in a single site for as long as 14 days.
