Description
Camping by the beach is always fun with activities like fishing, sightseeing, swimming, surfing, and just strolling along the beach. San Clemente State Beach offers 2 campgrounds. One for RVs or trailers with full hookups, and another for tent campers which can also accept small RVs but without hookups. 2 group sites are also available located next to the tent campground. Accessible sites are sites 20, 54, 56, 104, 134, and 156.
Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. On ground, there are restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, dump station, piped water, WIFI, and amphitheater. A store and laundry can be accessed in town.
Camping fee is $65 for full hookups, $45 for premium sites, and $40 for standard sites. These sites can accommodate a maximum of 8 people including children. Group campsites cost $250 to $300. All sites are for reservation.

Very nice rangers. Facilities are ok. Showers were cold though. 1$ 4 minutes.

Well maintained. The shower I used was hot. Some nice spots overlooking ocean. Sites are large. Short walk to beach.
