Description
San Emigdio campground lies within Wind Wolves Preserve, just near the entrance to San Emigdio's Canyon, and between the preserve's administration center and the crossing. It features 12 tent campsites with picnic tables, potable water, flush toilets, and dishwashing station. There is a small creek and pond surrounded by cottonwood trees in the campground.
Campsites 1 and 11 are accessible sites. Camper vans or trucks up to 21 feet are allowed but RVs and trailers are not. 6 people can stay in a single site for up to 6 nights. Guests can also book a maximum of 2 sites. Use of propane grills, stoves, and portable propane fire pits are allowed all year, while wood fires are only permitted when there is no fire ban. Generators cannot be used at all times in the camp.
