A total of 35 campsites sits along the lower Kern River providing fishing opportunities to campers. Lake Isabella is also nearby where guests can boat, waterski, or windsurf. Some campsites are by the river getting the best spot in the campground.
It is open from April to November with summer as the busiest season. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided in each site. RVs up to 24 feet can be accommodated, although hookups are not available. Vault toilets and tap water can be found in the campground.
Camping fee is $27 a night, and $30 on holiday weekends.

We had a serious wasp problem in the upper loop. We expect that in the lower loop near the river you'll get the mosquitos, so make your pick ;-)
