Description

Evergreen trees shade this campground which sits along the south fork of Kings River. It is adjacent to Cedar Grove Visitor Center. It features 82 sites that are all for reservation through recreation.gov. Flush toilets, coin-operated showers, and potable water are available in the campground. There are trash bins, food storage lockers, amphitheater, and camp store on site. Sites 10, 11, 12, and 14 are ADA-compliant campsites with accessible parking, extended picnic table, raised fire ring, a hard-packed surface, and paved route to facilities. RVs and trailers up to 82 feet can be accommodated here. Black bears are active in this area so make sure to store your food and other scented items properly. Camping fee is $22 a night for 6 people. Seniors and Access Pass holders are entitled to a 50% discount. The campground is closed on fall and winter.

Nice spot in the woods. A lot of space for your tent. Showers and a small market nearby (1 min drive)

Great spot. Huge campground. Food lockers. Picnic table. Fire ring. Temperature is more bearable down in canyon rather that in sequoia NP or in Grant grove.
