Description

Located on the north bank of the North Yuba River between Sierra City and Yuba Pass, Sierra Campground provides its guests a wide variety of recreational opportunities such as hiking, hunting, fishing, canoeing, and gold panning. There are 16 single-family tent-only sites, each with a picnic table and a campfire ring, aside from the vault toilets provided. Due to its location, there is no drinking water, but campers can purify some river water before intake.
