Description

Campsites above the high water mark are equipped with picnic tables and stoves. Flush toilets, trash service, drinking water, and information center can be found on site. There is a public boat launch and courtesy dock if you want to explore Lake Isabella. All sites are first come, first serve at South Fork which is open all year. Campers are permitted to stay for as long as 14 days in a 30-day period. Southern Sierra Pass is required to camp here.

Nice scenery. You can buy the ticket at a machine with card. Was too windy to build up our tent so we unfortunately had to book an Airbnb. Still waiting for a refund. Probably always windy because the trees are bent. With a van probably no problem. If the water is low in the lake you shouldn't swim there.
