Description
Views of Death Valley proper and Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes can be seen in this campground with 190 first come, first served campsites. It is located next to a privately owned RV park, ranger station, and the general store.
Dump station, potable water, toilets, and trash service are available on site. You can also purchase ice and firewood at the camp store. This campground is closed for summer due to extreme heat, as well as on holidays. Use of generators is allowed from 7 am to 7 pm. Quiet hours must be observed from 10 pm to 7 am.
Camping fee is $14 a night, and $7 for seniors and access pass holders. Each site can accommodate a maximum of 8 people, 1 RV, 2 cars or 4 motorcycles. You can stay for as long as 30 days. All of the sites are ADA-friendly with flat surfaces.

Website of the RV park next door says:190 sites are available on a first-come-first-serve basis from October through April for $12 a night. No hookups are available. Campers are invited to enjoy our swimming pool and showers for a nominal fee. Please inquire at the Front Desk area for more information.
