Nestled in eastern Stanislaus County, Turlock Lake State Recreation Area delivers recreational opportunities such as camping, picnicking, fishing, swimming, boating, and water skiing. There are several lookout points, where visitors can view the surrounding savannas and some of the cattle ranches and orchards nearby.

Not a great campground. Facilities pretty bad, and dirty. Too expensive for what you get!
